Total goal: 10 computers

Achieved: 3

What's missing: 7 computers

In 2015 the Canadian sustainable design team Solterre, carried out building a library for the town of Abetenim, giving the community access to a space where they could share knowledge and develop more education streams. Since then the members of the community use the space to read, study, stage group meetings, gain access to computers and expand their skills. It is a place that has given them the opportunity to expand and share knowledge.

In February of 2017 Solterre installed solar panels on the roof to ensure electricity at all times. It’s the only place in the village that has constant electricity thanks to them.

More computers are in demand to ensure increased frequent access, lessons, classes, and workshops so that the smaller children can begin to learn and practice new technologies.
